Adrian & Colleen - Our Story
We met over 10 years ago, as teenagers, and had kept in touch for years. One day Colleen decided to take up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a gym where Adrian had been training at (PureMMA). After reconnecting on the mats, traveling the world to compete, and endless car rides; we fell in love. In 2021, we got married and made it our goal to spread our love for martial arts in an area that didn't have any. In May 2022 our dreams came into fruition, and Lobo MMA was created.

My name is Adrian Luna, and I am a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Andrew and Mike Main. My martial arts journey began in childhood with Taekwondo, which instilled discipline and respect at an early age. In high school, I took up wrestling, a foundation that led me to discover my true passion, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
BJJ has profoundly shaped my life, providing me with a sense of purpose, a community, and a path for my future. I’ve competed in amateur MMA and am proud to hold a green Prajied rank under the Muay Thai Boxing Association.
Today, my greatest joy comes from coaching. Seeing my students work toward and achieve their goals. Whether they’re here for fitness, competition, or personal growth fuels my passion for teaching. At my gym, I strive to create an environment where anyone can experience the transformative power of martial arts and build the confidence to tackle challenges on and off the mats.

My name is Colleen Luna, and I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Andrew and Mike Main. My martial arts journey began with a friend’s recommendation. I walked into the gym not knowing what to expect, but I quickly fell in love, not just with the sport, but with the incredible sense of community it creates. With Adrian’s support, what started as a hobby grew into a passion.
When we moved to Blairstown, we realized the area was missing something special. Together, we decided to follow our dream of opening an MMA gym. Creating a space where others can experience the same joy and growth that martial arts has brought to our lives has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Building and growing our community is at the heart of what we do, and we are so excited to see where this adventure takes us!
